About Marcel
If a challenge makes you scared, you should probably do it! I love to step out of my comfort zone and do whatever it takes to find a one-of-a-kind experience. Scuba diving with sharks, "Done". Sky Diving over volcanos, "Done". Climbing into a nest of angry butterflies, "No sweat"! You look impressed.

Being from San Diego, California, my first trips were literally across the street to Mexico (almost daily), where every night felt like a spring break. Perfect for a high school senior, but I didn't take a genuine vacation until years later...
I thought I was headed to Hawaii for another two-week party. I was mistaken. The jaw-dropping beauty and culture struck me in the face right away, opening my eyes to how different the world could be. Now, every day I crave visiting a new area and seeing what adventures await if I just let the trip happen.
About Maja
Here's a thought: when life hands you lemons, fly to Italy for Limoncello! I grew up in Poland, where all of Europe was at my doorstep. If the day ended in "Y", I was probably in another country trying new foods, meeting new people, and helping myself to all the cocktails in sight.

My first international trip was when I was quite young (thank you, mom)! I've always felt extremely fortunate to have a parent that wanted and was able to show me the world. My favorite aspect of traveling when I was younger was not having to worry about any travel expenses...

No, but let's be serious. I am convinced that having the opportunity to travel the world, since I can only remember, has unlocked a life-long fear within me. The fear of the routine. I genuinely believe that travel pushes people to step outside of their comfort zones and teaches us about humanity, acceptance, and respect for different points of view and ways of life. It also challenges us to adapt to new environments, which allows us to experience the world in new ways. And, above all, it humbles us.
I've always been interested in seeing those less-visited places. It almost feels as if traveling is ingrained in my DNA and it is my way of connecting to the world. My goal is to help others unlock a deeper experience so they can create memories that will last a lifetime.
